Chad graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids MI and some of his favorite memories include playing hockey for the Knights and his semester in Spain.

Katie graduated from Wheaton College in IL with a degree in Psychology and just knew that she wanted to work with people to make a difference.

Dr. Jenny Powell, a central Illinois native, felt a clear call from God at age 30 to pursue medicine. She returned to school, earned her degree in Microbiology, completed medical school at the University of Illinois, and finished her Family Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University—graduating at 41. After serving in Clinton, Illinois, she moved with her family to the Missouri Ozarks in 2006 and practiced at St. John’s Clinic (now Mercy Clinic) in Lebanon. Driven to offer more personalized care, she later founded Direct Primary Care Clinics, LLC, a practice focused on restoring the physician-patient relationship. Dr. Powell now serves as Medical Director at New Spring Wellness Center in Osage Beach, Missouri, where she leads integrative, faith-based therapies for addiction recovery, chronic illness, and overall wellness. She believes medicine is a calling and is committed to whole-person healing—body, mind, and spirit.
